CSO at DO.II Designs Limited in Ojota, Lagos

Position Overview

We are looking for an skilled and initiative-driven CSO (Chief security officer) to head our guard processes and ensure the safety of our people, real estate, and assets. The preferred candidate will possess a solid experience in guard management, outstanding management abilities, and the capability to formulate and execute efficient guard plans while making sure adherence with relevant legal provisions and organisation rules.

Primary duties

• Guarantee adherence with relevant guard rules, standardized processes, and rules.
• Coordinate with crisis solutions, law enforcement, and other applicable agencies to handle and settle guard concerns.
• Preserve solid connections with local, state, and federal guard bodies.
• Formulate risk mitigation strategy evaluations and execute preventive measures against accidents, theft, and other risks.
• Explore guard breaches and oversee system issue inquiries.
• Track and preserve guard devices, which includes Closed-circuit television and authorization operational structures, making sure they are in good operating requirement.
• Supervise authorization for vehicles, employees, visitors, and restricted zones.
• Confirm business visitor certifications and ensure proper clearance for items entering or departing the premises.
• Oversee security staff, which includes organizing changes, coordinating depart plans, and supervising effectiveness.
• Preserve a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and organisation real estate.
• Execute other obligations as allocated by the Chief, Human resources & Divided Solutions.

Key Effectiveness Indicators

• Zero tolerance for theft of organisation real estate.
• 100% capability of Closed-circuit television operational structures with routine assessment and status updates.
• Precise recordkeeping of all incoming and outgoing items.
• Efficient management and supervising of security staff.

Credentials

• At least a Bsc in Community-related Sciences, Guard, or relevant field.
• Higher academic qualification or applicable qualifications is a plus.
• At least 5 years’ proven work expertise in guard management with a track document of success.
• Previous military or police profile will be an added advantage.
• Specialist guard qualifications from identified bodies are a plus.
