Job Description

Position Overview

  • As CSO, the applicant will play a pivotal position in offering strategic monitoring to guard processes at all our sites spread across the length and breadth of Nigeria.
  • This includes taking charge of guard programs, leading all guard plan, and exercising oversight over the Guard Solutions.
  • Additionally, the applicant will be in charge of carrying out detail-oriented guard risk evaluations and instituting rules to ensure protection of against asset loss and fraudulent initiatives.

Primary duties

  • Design and execute guard rules, standardized processes, and procedures to reduce risk risks and preserve a secure environment.
  • Formulate and execute a complete guard structure to protect the organization's assets and structure.
  • Partnering with cross-operational teams to evaluate risks, recognize vulnerabilities and formulate preventive measures.
  • Establish and preserve solid connections with external participants, which includes compliance-related bodies, law enforcement agencies and industry associations.
  • Head guard consciousness programs and development programs to teach employees about industry standards and possibility threats.
  • Carry out consistent guard audits and risk evaluations to recognize vulnerabilities in and around the warehouse and ensure remedial health is in adherence possessing applicable rules.
  • Work alongside the IT systems support to execute and oversee guard technical solutions.
  • Track guard operational structures and networks for possibility threats in addition to supervise the management of physical guard measures. These comprise of entry regulates, Closed-circuit television operational structures, and security staff.
  • Promptly investigating and mitigating every guard incidence that is reported.
  • Formulate and preserve incidence documentation, response strategies and making sure prompt and efficient responses to guard breaches.
  • Oversee records, recordkeeping and status updates to show adherence and coordinate audits.
  • Stay informed with the latest guard practices, technical solutions, and compliance-related modifications, making sure ongoing development of the guard operation.
  • Formulate and sustain connections with local police divisions within Nigeria.
  • Ensure the company is conforming with relevant guard-associated legal provisions, compliance guidelines in Nigeria.
  • Promote solid connections with local law enforcement, military, and regulatory bodies to improve entire guard measures.
  • Formulate and supervise crisis-management strategies, making sure the company's preparedness for crises.
  • Establish and preserve intelligence networks to stay informed about possibility guard threats and modifications in the operating environment.
  • Combine improved guard technical solutions to improve surveillance, supervising, and response capabilities.
  • Guarantee adherence with national and international guard rules, leading necessary modifications.
  • Establish a strong system issue status updates system and carry out post-system issue evaluation to constantly enhance guard measures.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bsc or equivalent in any applicable field requiring at least fifteen (15) years cognate operating expertise in the guard sector
  • Must possess achieved a minimum of the rank of a Key in the Army, or its equivalent.
  • Presence and exposure to vast development and possession of related experience in the Intelligence or Crime Management unit is a plus.
  • Should possess the ability to preserving and conceptualizing guard policing structured for both day and night changes. Explore and track incidents which comprises carrying out inquiries, reviewing root cause evaluation and formulate corrective actions.
  • Deep understanding of guard procedures, risk evaluation, and crisis-management organizing.
  • Clear articulation and bargaining skills.
  • Understanding with local and national guard rules.
