Job Description

Strategy and execute programme initiatives in adherence with project log frame, financial plan, workplan, proposal, NRC, donor and humanitarian procedures and direction offered by the Education Manager or Organizer and Education Expert
Formulate and submit application work strategies, procurement strategies and expenditure strategies to guarantee on time execution of project initiatives.
Support to every month, every quarter and yearly within and outside the organization documentation.
Officially or informally recognize capacity development needs for Education employees and associates, recognize or offer learning and check in training.
Supervise the work of Education Assistants, recognize skills development needs, and offer technical and managerial assist and training as needed.
Collaborate with Monitoring and evaluation to oversee the collection of data which includes baseline and endlines.
Make sure that all necessary documents and means of confirmation for all initiatives are captured and stored electronically.

In partnership with Education Technical Assistants, offer learning to teachers on Education Technical zones which includes pedagogy, Yearly Status of Education Documentation (ASER) and Learners’ Evaluation, child protection and NRC’s Better Learning Programme among others,
Supervise hiring process and procurement methods in synchronization with Education Assistants and NRC’s HR and Procurement units and check in as necessary.
Stand for NRC to government governing bodies and make sure that all project initiatives are done in synchronization with government.
Engage and organize with local government governing bodies, networks, group key stakeholders, parent groups, school management and other entities executing education initiatives which includes the Education in Crises Operating Group and executing associates.
Ensure efficient synchronization with NRC’ Information Counselling and Lawful Support (ICLA) RRM, M&E, Protection and Adherence units.
Oversee and send needs evaluation, data collection and entry and collection of recordkeeping and confirmation of project initiatives.
Together WASH and Shelter team assist school building/ rehabilitation initiatives which includes hygiene awareness marketing and WASH in schools
Any other assignment applicable to the role upon demand by the line and/or technical manager.
