Job Description
Position Overview
The CSO (Chief security officer) is in charge of conceptualizing and executing guard rules, procedures, and standardized processes to ensure protection of the organization's physical and human assets. With a robust military profile and demonstrated expertise in the production operations sector, the Chief security officer will head all guard processes, making sure a secure operating environment across all plant and facility sites.
Staff and Team lead:
- Head, educate, and oversee security staff, making sure discipline and preparedness.
- Arrange guard drills and simulations.
- Allocate guard obligations and carry out consistent effectiveness reviews.
Physical Guard Management:
- Ensure protection of production operations plants, warehouses, unedited materials, and finished goods.
- Execute authorization measures (e.g., ID cards, Closed-circuit television, patrol operational structures).
- Track perimeter fencing, gates, and loading zones to stop intrusion entry.
System issue Management:
- Explore and documentation all incidents, breaches, or suspicious initiatives.
- Coordinate with law enforcement, military, and crisis-management units as needed.
- Supervise proper recordkeeping of guard-associated events and corrective measures.
Participant Relation:
Collaborate with Human resources, generation, logistics, and facility teams to align guard with organizational processes. Act as the primary point of reach out for external guard agencies and compliance-related bodies.
Key Qualifications
- Military profile (e.g., retired officer from the Army, Navy, Air Force, or Police).
- At least 10 years of expertise in a guard executive function, which includes 5+ years in a production operations or industrial setting.
- Solid understanding of guard and safety procedures, authorization operational structures, and crisis-management organizing.
- Expertise coordinating large guard teams spanning various sites.
- Verified ability to oversee crises and take action productively under pressure.
- Clear articulation, executive guidance, and dispute-solution competencies.
- Skilled in using modern surveillance operational structures (Closed-circuit television, biometric entry, etc.).
Teaching Credentials:
- Bsc in Criminology, Guard Studies, Industrial Safety, or relevant field (a plus).
- Specialist qualifications in guard management
- Military development in executive guidance, intelligence, and processes (compulsory).

- Strategic thinker with a initiative-driven approach to risk mitigation strategy.
