Pipeline Surveillance Assistance team at Vagan Oil & Gas Limited in Port Harcourt, Rivers

Position Objective

Collate, process information streams by carrying out evaluation and coordinating information exchanging with suitable parties in preventing, interventions/aversions, and responding to crude oil theft-associated crimes and incidents.

Additional Information:

• Have recent T-BOSIET or HUET accreditation
• Consciousness of the geography of SPDC processes assets – East & West.
• Pipelines & their RoWs – East & West
• Possesses good relational abilities – qualifications to guarantee operating cordial connection with flight crew.
• Capability to operate in a cooperative, team-based environment
• Assist assets and projects Physical Asset Verifications (PAV) exercise.
• Possesses outstanding critical thinking and appreciates a technical difficulty.
• Meticulous with robust planning abilities. Efficient coordinating and urgency sorting various assignment

Key Hurdles:

• Long flying hours and screen time.
• Work Cycle
• The work site is mostly onsite.
• There is however possibility for regularly scheduled visit to remote facilities reachable through land transport, helicopter or boat, as business needs.
• Staff shall oversee own absences with his/her vendor for appropriate certified covers, as authorized by Customer.

Qualifications Academics:

Bsc in Computer Science

Work Expertise:

• 2 years’ expertise in data governance and not prone to Acrophobia, hypsophobia due to space and motion discomfort.
• Key Interfaces: IT, Pipeline RoW, SOC/Guard
• Tech Channels
• MS Workspace suite of applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc)

Specialist Qualifications:

Business intelligence, EHS management, engineering, or applicable studies. Specialized abilities.
