Job Description

Position Overview

  • We are looking for a highly proficient Electrical Engineering Advisor to head the assessment and accreditation of electrical engineering agreements carried out by service providers.
  • The advisor will make sure that all electrical works adhere with binding qualifications, technical requirements, industry guidelines, and safety rules.
  • This position includes close partnership with service providers and customer teams to offer specialist guarantee and assist the on-time completion of electrical engineering scopes within large-scale projects.

Duties

  • Evaluate and assess electrical engineering agreements and vendor outputs to guarantee adherence with agreement conditions, technical requirements, and relevant electrical engineering guidelines (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NEC).
  • Carry out thorough evaluations of electrical design documents, material qualifications, test documentation, and as-built recordkeeping provided by service providers.
  • Execute in-field inspections, witness electrical tests, and confirm the quality and honesty and reliability of electrical system setups and operational structures.
  • Recognize non-conformances or deviations and work alongside service providers to formulate and track corrective action strategies.
  • Organize and problem official accreditation documentation verifying acceptance of electrical engineering works for customer authorization and payment processing.
  • Organize with service providers, customer delegates, and project teams to coordinate effective communication and settle technical or binding concerns.
  • Track milestone tracking and risks connected with electrical engineering scopes, advising the customer on risk reduction plans to avoid setbacks or cost overruns.
  • Preserve current expertise in industry guidelines, codes, and industry standards applicable to electrical engineering and agreement guarantee.
  • Assist agreement close-out initiatives by making sure all electrical engineering outputs are finalize and accredited.
  • Offer technical direction and guidance to entry-level engineers or advisors participated in agreement assessment.

Credentials

  • Bsc in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field. Specialist qualifications (e.g., PE, CEng) considered advantageous.
  • At least 5 years of expertise in electrical engineering, with significant exposure to agreement assessment, QA, or advising positions.
  • Solid understanding of electrical engineering guidelines, codes, and industry standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NEC).
  • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and authorizing vendor electrical works in large-scale projects (e.g., structure, petroleum sector, production operations).
  • Outstanding logical, assessment, and analytical abilities.
  • Clear expression and people skills, with the capability to oversee various participants.
  • Capability to operate independently and oversee various agreement reviews at the same time.
  • Competence in applicable engineering software and record management operational structures.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Expertise in sectors which includes petroleum sector, petrochemical, structure, or heavy production operations.
  • Understanding with standards oversight operational structures and non-conformance status updates methods.
  • Expertise in health, safety, and ecological (HSE) rules connected with electrical engineering.
  • Project coordination expertise or accreditation (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
