RTSL is hiring a Medicines Entry Advisor to assist the Nigeria Hypertension Regulate Plan (NHCI), concentrating on optimizing entry to crucial hypertension medicines in Nigeria, following the summary of the Clinton Health Entry Plan (CHAI) sub-grant. The advisor will collaborate with the Top level Technical consultant (STA) on Hypertension Regulate to strengthen the medicine entry plan, market shaping, and regulatory framework execution across the country. The position aids the execution of rules and maintainable mechanisms which includes the Drug Revolving Financial support (DRF), leveraging health funding and compliance-related operational structures under programs like the Basic Healthcare Offering Financial support (BHCPF) and the Presidential Plan for Unlocking the Healthcare Full operational cycle (PVAC).

Duration and Site

The Medicines Entry Advisor is a 12-month Self-sufficient Vendor role based in Abuja, Nigeria. The selected applicant will need to be based in Abuja, but will possess the option to operate remotely.

Skills development:

Adjust and institutionalize development toolkits for medicine entry and stock management. Build capacity of RTSL employees and community health vendors in PSM and predicting.

Credentials Education:

Bsc in Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, or relevant field Master's or higher academic qualification in Community health, Economics, Public Regulatory framework, or associated discipline preferred

Expertise:

5–6 years of progressive expertise in medicine entry, stock chain, or pharmaceutical procurement Expertise in local production operations operational structures and African continental regulatory framework frameworks preferred.

Competencies & Skills:

  • Robust participant relation, support, and verbal abilities
  • Verified ability to oversee outputs and timelines in a consultancy structure
  • Logical capacity in regulatory framework, health funding, and stock chain assessment
  • Competence in Office productivity software and applicable data resources
  • Fluent in English.
