Network Operations coordinator at Dangote Group in Lagos

Explanation

The Network Operations coordinator is responsible for making sure the daily output and accessibility of the company’s Regional location Network (LAN) and Wide Zone Network (WAN). This position comprises analysing the network, endorsing upgrades or modifications, and evaluating the company's ongoing and future network qualifications.

Duties 

• Strategy and supervise network system setups, circuit integrations, network tools servicing & maintenance, and entire processes.
• Set up, track, and diagnose issues network concerns as they arise.
• Supervise infrastructure effectiveness to recognize promise challenges and ensure strong results levels.
• Organize every month documentation on network accessibility.
• Preserve the network structure by dealing with concerns with firewalls, routers, switches, wireless managers, wireless entry points, radius servers, and more.
• Produce Invoices of Materials (BOM) for new, faulty, and end-of-life network devices.
• Execute software upgrades or patches on network-associated devices.
• Keep documentation of network activity, which includes data records of user activity and system key indicators.
• Coordinate and implement Adjustment Management requests according to Standard Operating Standardized processes (SOP) or Methods of Standardized process (MOP).
• Make sure that all network recordkeeping is current.

Qualifications

• A Bsc (Bachelor's degree) or a HND qualification (Higher national diploma) in Computer Science, Information Tech, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.
• At least 3 to 6 years of work expertise in the same or a associated role.
• Applicable Cisco and relationship building qualifications, which includes CCNP, Fortinet NSE4, and Palo Alto PCNSE.
• Expertise with relationship building procedures, which includes TCP/IP, IPsec, DMVPN, GRE, VXLAN, VRRP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Skilled in top relationship building technical solutions, which includes software-defined WAN (SD-WAN), Wi-Fi 7, and network automatic control.
• Expertise with Unified Threat Management (UTM) initiatives.
• Clear articulation competencies.
