Job Description
Team and Position Objective
To offer strategic executive guidance and direction on all Program Financing matters across Save the Children. Optimise and align our local-to-worldwide program financing project sample and lead uninterrupted enhancements in our capabilities, financing procedures and donor strategic collaborations. Mix art and science to turn findings into action. Work alongside extensively across the movement, and collaborate directly with primary stakeholders, both within and beyond StC, to directly inform, shape, and link key strategic program financing practices and programs that improve the movement's Worldwide plan and Worldwide Financing Structure goals.
Position objective
To offer specialist business development assist and direction that, in actively partnering with and optimizing Country and Member endeavors, aids securing Country Plan in sync Program Financing. Chief Accountabilities
Assist during the formation and dispatch of country-specific business development initiatives (which includes but not limited to country donor relations, work collaboratively development, avenue recognition, capture organizing, prepositioning, proposal development and offer drafting) that assist Country Workspaces secure priority, flagship financing avenues in sync with their Country-specific key focuses and the worldwide targets of Save the Children International. Offer specialist direction and assist to country Executing workspaces on the project setup and entry of premium quality, attractive financing proposals; this comprises directly top on cross-operational proposal development and offer drafting as is needed. Where suitable, assist country/executing workspaces promote and sustain connections with key Members, donors and associates, making sure that information exchange and engagement are regular with Save the Children's values of honesty and reliability and partnership. Actively documentation on any key concerns risks connected with country financing differences, business development capacity, or other that may risk the program financing long-term viability of Country Workspaces in the region. Preferred:
Accreditation or development in international development, program management, program financing/capital raising and connections management Accredited membership of applicable specialist bodies is preferred
Advantageous background:
- Expertise of operating in a country / executing workspace or regional workspace of SCI/A or equivalent
- Demonstrable expertise in offering strategic monitoring of key financing avenues and making sure alignment with organisational targets.
