Analysis & Business Development Manager at Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) in Nigeria

Role description

IPA Nigeria is looking for for a Analysis and Business Development Manager who interested in operating for a top international analysis and regulatory framework company. Preferred applicants will be driven, excited to learn and enthusiastic to take-on new duty in IPA’s dynamic Business Development (BD) Team. They will work to formulate and constantly evaluate (and adjust as needed) the Nigeria Country Workspace’s business development and participant relation plan in partnership with the Country Director, Analysis Managers and the Worldwide enterprise Development team. The Analysis and Business Development Manager possesses two broad sets of duties. The first is analysis project coordination monitoring: will supervise the starting project sample of projects and will be in charge of the entire management of a project sample of three to four RCTs, which includes helping with recruiting project coordination employees, engagement with PIs, and face-to-face synchronization with collaborating organizations and local, state, and national government participants. Second, is business development: they will offer targeted, strategic assist to business development avenues, which includes drafting, editing, wrapping and sending proposals; managing with various within and outside the organization participants; top other targeted assist initiatives, as needed.

Business Development (25%):

• Head and start a project sample of business & project development endeavors with researchers, funders, and collaborating organizations
• Recognize priority analysis questions and key matters for policymakers in the various sectors, and start and oversee the development of corresponding new analysis proposals
• Propose cost systems and financial plans for possibility financing avenues and proposals
• Make sure that institutional structured are established to present plan applications – in line with the donor's due dates and qualifications – and work alongside the Grants team and the Business Development team to send analysis proposals and set up new grant honors.

Credentials

• 7-10 years of applicable professional background, which includes expertise in economics analysis, effect reviews, international development
• Expertise directing large data collection analysis projects, which includes top survey design, execution, and data governance profile in randomized regulate field experiments
• MSC in development economics, international public regulatory framework, or a relevant field is essential. MBAs also inspired
• Improved expertise in statistical bundles which includes STATA, R, Python is essential
• Expertise operating on both quantitative and qualitative data collection
• Expertise in top or assisting business development initiatives within an company
• Superior logical, quantitative and theoretical thinking competencies
• Capability to show information in a organized and perceptive way, both in drafting and orally
• Self-starter, innovative outlook, flexibility and robust handling multiple responsibilities competencies
• Enthusiasm for making analytics-based strategic judgment a reality during the formation sector
• Capability to oversee and organize multicultural teams across participants, which includes academic researchers, site employees, government and private sector associates
• Expertise engaging with multicultural teams across various branches, which includes comprehensive remote sites of team members
• Meticulous, adaptable, self-inspiring, capable to oversee various duty productively and under pressure
• Expertise with analysis project coordination in Nigeria is desirable
• Expertise with randomized regulate field experiments is desirable
• Readiness and capability to commute up to 40% of the time.
