Position Overview

We are seeking an goal Audit officer to add value and enhance our processes by bringing a systematic and self-controlled approach to the performance of risk mitigation strategy, regulate, and compliance methods. The successful applicant will have a thorough expertise in accounting standardized processes and a sound judgment.

Duties

• Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy, mathematical precision, and proper document from all the hotel departments.
• Assist Audit & Adherence (A&C) Manager to audit all the hotel departments to guarantee proper regulate as it concerns finance and stock.
• Build a robust adherence environment to guarantee zero level of regulatory framework, standardized processes and compliance-related infractions.
• Examine re-occurring and non-re-occurring expenditures and financial controller operational structures.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Department and advisor in harmonizing prices of F&B goods for sale.
• Making sure sales documentation and records are precise and dependable.
• Recognizing faulty methods and standardized processes and offer guidance on modifications.
• Getting ready Audit Documentation and strategic guidance for the A&C Manager’s evaluate
• Coordinating with with the Hotel general manager and demonstrating findings and strategic guidance.
• Collaborate with the A&C Manager to build robust consciousness on all regulatory framework and standardized process concerns; zero tolerance for un-examined financial record and earnings leakages.
• Collating, checking and evaluating inventory and buy items.
• Establish and preserve a DB for F&B stock inventory which includes current pricing.
• Organize, participate and track all F&B physical inventories to guarantee precision.
• Recognize loopholes and endorse risk aversion and expense management measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree Academic qualification in Accounting or Finance.
• 3 - 5 years proven operating expertise as Audit officer or Top level Audit officer
• Improved computer competencies on MS Workspace, financial system and databases
• Capability to adjust creatively large amounts of data and to assemble thorough documentation
• Confirmed understanding of auditing guidelines and standardized processes, legal provisions, compliance standards
• High meticulousness and outstanding critical thinking
• Sound self-sufficient judgement
• Applicants for the promoted roles will require cognate expertise of five (5) years and above with comprehensive expertise operating in quality hotels.
• Candidates must be computer literate, possess clear articulation competencies and of good personality.
• Applicants should be resident in Lagos.
