Job Description
Objective of the task
The objective of this ToR is to participate analysis staff that will carry out data collection, evaluation and analysis for EoR assessment based on LQAS approach. Advisor and the manager will educate data collectors and supervise data collection methods while other staff will carry out the actual data collection using an electronic operational base.
Scope
- This ToR is to offer description for EoR assessment that will be executed in the states where Malaria Consortium is executing MDA-AZM (Kaduna, Kebbi, Jigawa, Adamawa and Gombe).
- The process includes responsibility for recognition, selection and development of supervisors at development of trainers (ToT) and subsequently, data collectors in the states.
- It will also engage data collection, evaluation and documentation drafting.
Structured approach
The goal of the EoR assessment is to evaluate AZM coverage and compliance of group drug distributors (CDDs) to treatment procedure at once and not more than 5 days after each round of treatment. The findings will be evaluated and any ward (lot) scoring less than 80% will be targeted for corrective measures around underperformance, for advancement in subsequent rounds.
Outputs Formulate and send:
- State-level evaluated data from the SurveyCTO operational base.
- Pre- and Post-Test evaluation documentation.
- Documentation on state-level distribution of preliminary findings.
- State-Specific Technical Documentation (Visual stories document structure) outlining structured approach, outcomes, hurdles, and strategic guidance.
- State Visual communication Deck (PowerPoint document structure) condensing assessment results.
Profile Qualifications
- Must be a Academic qualification holder in Community health, Demography, Statistics, or other associated disciplines with 5 - 10 years post-certification expertise.
- At least 5 years’ expertise in community health analysis structured approach.
- Must be knowledgeable about Kobocollect, SurveyCTO, STATA, and other statistical software.
- Capability to show good facilitation competencies.
- Demonstrable documentation skilled in writing.
- Capability to speak local language is a plus
- Accessibility for the full period of the survey.
- Must not be a employees of Government or participated in MDA-AZM activity at any level and in any State Ministry of Health (SMoH).
- The National Advisor must be resident in the state for which s/he submitted application for.
