About the Position

The Cost Supervisor is in charge of organizing, conceptualizing, supervising, and optimizing the institution’s cost and financial plan regulate plans. The position ensures financial effectiveness, aids asset distribution, and aligns business expenditure with the strategic targets of the school. The Cost Supervisor will collaborate with finance, procurement, academic units, and project teams to guarantee strong finance Management and cost responsibility.

Primary duties

  • Formulate and supervise the execution of expense management operational structures, standardized processes, and rules.
  • Engage in yearly financial plan organizing and mid-year financial plan assessments with unit-specific heads.
  • Track unit-specific and project expenditures to guarantee alignment with authorized financial plans.
  • Assess and endorse cost-saving programs without compromising quality or academic honesty and reliability.
  • Organize periodic cost documentation, projections, and financial difference assessment to assist strategic judgment.
  • Evaluate academic and managerial programme expenses to enhance process effectiveness.
  • Carry out cost-advantage evaluation for key buys, agreements, and new programs.
  • Documentation financial effectiveness indicators and KPIs applicable to expense management for executive review.
  • Work alongside procurement to assess supplier agreements, pricing, and cost systems.
  • Evaluate and evaluate buy requisitions for budget efficiency and regulatory framework adherence.
  • Ensure productive stock and resource control procedures to reduce waste and pilferage.
  • Execute and track internal regulates to prevent cost overruns, misuse, and financial inefficiencies.
