Role summary
The farm operations supervisor manages farm processes, which comprise of coordinating and development employees, monitoring crop development and harvesting, supervising livestock, preserving tools and facilities, making sure quality assurance, and preserving precise records of farm initiatives. Supervisors also manage financial components like financial planning and expenditures, ensure adherence to safety rules, and documentation on generation to farm managers.
Primary duties
- Employees Management: Hire, educate, and oversee farm laborers and internship, allocating duty, setting work plans, and making sure compliance to regulations and standardized processes.
- Crop Management: Supervise planting, development, water management, and harvesting of crops, making decisions on crop rotation and fertilization to guarantee productivity.
- Livestock Management: Track and preserve the health, welfare, and feeding of farm animals, managing feeding plans and making sure biosecurity procedures are followed.
- Processes Supervising: Supervise routine farm initiatives, making sure the productive and safe process of the farm.
- Quality assurance: Examine the quality of generate, track livestock terms, and execute standardized processes to guarantee premium quality result.
- Tools & Facility Servicing & maintenance: Oversee and preserve farm machinery, tools, and facilities, status updates any concerns promptly.
- Document Keeping: Preserve precise records of farm terms, machinery servicing & maintenance, generation data, and employees initiatives.
- Safety & Adherence: Ensure the farm follows with workplace safety and wellness rules and executes established safety programs.
- Financial & Financial plan Management: Evaluate farm expenditures, oversee financial plans, and regulate asset distribution to guarantee profit margin.
- Information exchange: Convey productively with farm managers, team members, suppliers, and other participants.
- Status updates: Organize documentation on time, tools, materials, and generation for management.
Qualifications
