Oncology Advisor at mDoc Healthcare Limited in Lagos

The role

We are looking for a Driven and highly skilled Oncology Advisor to assist a digital health plan leveraging AI attentive on optimizing health literacy, self-efficacy, treatment compliance, and referral effectiveness for those individuals at greatest risk of or living with cancer, especially concentrating on a cohort of women. This project leverages digital channels, which includes a virtual health chatbot, to supply personalized health education, assist lifestyle modifications which includes nutrition, fitness, and emotional wellness and motivate the member to achieve a level of both trust, healthier outlook on life and engage in healthier and preventative habits. The Oncology Advisor will play a main responsibility in shaping the teaching and conductual inspirational parts of the project. They will (operating with the mDoc Clinical/Mentoring Team), head the development of evidence-based content, design quality evaluation resources, and assist the consolidation of AI-enabled and digital health initiatives to improve patient relation and results. While this is project-based, the advisor should possess a whole-centred product and business lens, identifying this work should lead the success of the full scope of clinical and mentoring AI-enabled approach. The advisor will work alongside in a cross-operational manner with cross-functional teams, that comprises tech/digital health professionals, PMs, machine learning engineers, content creators, communications professionals, and healthcare experts, to guarantee high comprehensive quality and influential interventions.

Product Development:

• Collaborate with the feature lead and broader ML teams to enhance the oncology
• programme and running test capabilities with user-focused visual design rules.
• Harness the “MLnicial” structured approach to lead strategic refinements and enhancements to our approach.
• Offer input on geocoding for NaviHealth.ai™ to augment client recommendations for screening, treatment etc.

Evaluation & Assessment:

• Design pre- and post-surveys of members to evaluate trust levels in teaching and
• preventative care targets, decide self-efficacy, and track conductual modifications in participants.
• Assist data analysis, confirmation and offer findings to enhance programme interventions.

Credentials & Expertise

• MD or MBBS with specialization in Medical Oncology, Hematology-Oncology, or Radiation Oncology.
• Accreditation: Board accreditation in Oncology or equivalent certification.
• Postgraduate degree ( MPH, or equivalent) in Community health, Digital Health, or a relevant field.
• 7-10 years of expertise in oncology with power in patient education, population health and or digital health projects.
• Track document of publications of premium quality analysis articles in peer-examined medical and oncology transaction entries.
• Competence in cancer prevention, treatment compliance, and patient self-efficacy plans.
• Demonstrated expertise conceptualizing health education materials and training entry-level trainees.
• Deep knowledge of conductual adjustment models and lifestyle modification plans (nutrition, physical activity, emotional well-being).
• Expertise with AI or digital health resources will be an added advantage.
• Robust critical thinking, with expertise designing pre- and post-intervention evaluations.
