Role summary

We are looking for a inspired and devoted Graduate Farm operations supervisor to supervise and organize farm processes, making sure productivity and adherence with best agricultural procedures. The successful applicant will be in charge of directing farm laborers, allocating routine obligations, and supervising the advancement of farming initiatives, with a particular concentration on crop farming.

Primary duties

• Oversee and organize the routine initiatives of farm laborers.
• Allocate and track specific duty to farmers to guarantee effectiveness and productivity.
• Offer direction and assist to workers in line with best agricultural procedures.
• Supervise crop farming initiatives, which includes land project setup, planting, irrigation, weeding, pest/disease regulate, and harvesting.
• Ensure proper use and servicing & maintenance of farm technical resources.
• Keep records of farm processes, input usage, and crop effectiveness.
• Documentation advancement and hurdles for executive review routinely.
• Guarantee alignment to safety, health, and ecological guidelines on the farm.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Agriculture, Crop Science, Agronomy, or a relevant field.
• Finalization of NYSC programme (compulsory).
• Solid understanding of crop farming procedures and farm management.
• Good executive guidance, supervisory, and verbal abilities.
• Capability to oversee a team productively and work under minimal oversight.
• Robust corporate and issue resolution abilities.
