Position Overview

We are looking for an skilled Business Development Head to spearhead growth programs in Nigeria’s petroleum sector EPC sector. The preferred candidate will leverage robust industry connections, specialized skill, and business-related strategic insight to recognize avenues, secure agreements, and expand market presence.

Primary duties

• Formulate and implement business development plans to grow EPC projects in the petroleum sector sector.
• Build, strengthen, and oversee connections with IOCs, LOCs, authorities, and strategic associates.
• Head offers, proposals, and tender entries (which includes NIPEX/NAPIMS portals).
• Detect industry trends, avenues, and risks to guide corporate plan.
• Work alongside technical and project teams to align customer needs with organisation capabilities.
• Bargain and close business agreements, agreements, and strategic collaborations.
• Guarantee adherence with NCDMB/local content qualifications.
• Offer consistent documentation for executive review on pipeline, avenues, and business effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Engineering or associated discipline (Master of business administration is a plus).
• At least 10 years’ demonstrated expertise in business development inside the petroleum sector EPC sector.
• Robust current connections with IOCs, LOCs, and key industry participants.
• Exhibited success in coordinating offers, tenders, and deal discussions.
• Outstanding expertise in NIPEX, NAPIMS, and local content rules.
• Clear expression, bargain, and public speaking.
• High level of competence, honesty and reliability, and strategic thinking.

• In-depth understanding of NCDMB/local content frameworks.
• Established history of winning large-scale EPC agreements.
• Capability to operate independently and supply outcomes under pressure.
