Vocational Development Manager at Borderlesshr in Surulere, Lagos

Position Overview

The preferred candidate will be in charge of organizing, managing, and carrying out capacity-building plans at our Development Institute. This position ensures the dispatch of premium quality vocational and competencies-based education, smooth institute processes, and the project setup of learners for position preparedness, especially for positions within our spa processes.

Primary duties

• Design and execute capacity-building plans in the Beauty & Wellness industry.
• Work alongside industry professionals to keep programs in sync with ongoing practices and industry standards.
• Verify that every development meets compliance-related and certification guidelines.
• Oversee instructors, employees, plans, and facilities for smooth day-to-day activities.
• Supervise financial planning, asset distribution, and adherence with health, safety, and certification guidelines.
• Lead student hiring process to meet registration targets (at least 30 trainees every month).
• Supervise admissions, orientation, and onboarding.
• Assist students to be employable through organized evaluations and practical learning.
• Build and sustain relationships with industry professionals, suppliers, and compliance-related bodies.
• Work alongside spa management to guarantee students meet employment landscape requirements.

Qualifications

Education: Bsc in educational studies, Business Management, or relevant field. Team lead or Managerial qualifications are a desirable asset. Expertise: At least 5 years coordinating a development institute or teaching company (compulsory). Previous spa management expertise is a plus.
