Assistant Health initiatives Manager at Premiere Urgence Internationale (PUI) in Katsina

General Targets

Under the oversight of the Health Manager, project (PM), the Health Assistant Manager, project (DPM) shall ensure the entire assist and direct oversight of the teams operating in PUI facilities and registered in PUI health project in Bolori II. S/he should help the health PM in organizing, arranging, executing and supervising of accepted health initiatives and organized skills development.

Team Management

• Oversee the supervisors/supervisory role with efficient direction and adequate assist
• Ensure the execution of good team management procedures with supervisors/supervisory role
• Check in on employees plans, paid vacation and presence sheets in accordance with Human resources standardized processes
• Oversee the hiring process of new employees in partnership with supervisors and Health initiatives Manager
• Draw up Position summaries as needed, in partnership with the Health initiatives Manager
• Engage in the consistent assessment of team medical and non-medical employees in partnership with HPM Evaluate development needs, formulate development strategies, coordinate and execute development for medical and nonmedical employees, and check in the effect after development
• Make sure that the Health team is respecting PUI regulations and inform the Health Manager, project of any disrespect of the regulations
• Ensure the guard regulations in the site are respected, the safety of the site officers is secured and the consistent information exchange with the guard focal person is preserved
