Guard Escort at the U.S. Embassy in Abuja (FCT)

Overview

We are looking for qualified and certified candidates for the role of Guard Escort in the Facilities Maintenace Section.

Obligations

• Escorts all uncleared servicing & maintenance crews, cleaners, service providers and other service staff in secure zones for the duration of their work.
• Escort obligations may require operating after-hours and weekends.
• Delivers guard escort assist for diplomatic couriers upon arrival and exit.
• Make sure that secure arears remain uncompromised and escorts all uncleared staff out of the protected location when the work is finished. 

Education Qualifications:

Secondary school certificate is essential. Please handle this factor in your ERA application under Education.

Expertise:

One year of work expertise onsite management is essential.

Language: 

Good practical understanding speaking/reading/drafting English is essential.

Role understanding:

Thorough expertise in rules overseeing regulate and protection of classified material is essential. Thorough expertise in general workspace standardized processes, computers and Office productivity software is essential.

Competencies And Abilities:

• Client support competencies and the capability to interact with the local employees and all levels of staff is essential.
• Must be ready to direct workers to guarantee that guard is not compromised.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age, be a U.S. citizen and be qualified to acquire a top-secret clearance.
• Must be capable to lift or carry up to 35 pounds.
