Role summary
- The Assist Nest Plan is looking for a agile and adaptable Strategic collaborations & Long-term viability Manager to join our team.
- The successful applicant will head the strategic endeavors for Project READ, building the connections and financing streams necessary to secure its long-term success.
- This position is ideal for a natural "connector" who is committed to social advancement and proficient at turning resulting deliverables into captivating stories that motivate action.
Duties
- Collaboration Development: Map and develop strategic alliances with FCT ministries, Nonprofit organizations, corporate CSR teams, and local influencers; bargain Memoranda of Comprehension (MoUs) and sponsorship bundles.
- Government & Participant Communication link: Successfully navigate and preserve efficient operating connections with the National Library of Nigeria and other applicable federal regulatory bodies to guarantee project alignment and institutional assist.
- Group Mobilization: Design and supervise creative outreach marketing to lead library membership and programme involvement, particularly targeting women’s groups, PWD networks, and street-linked youth.
- Communications & Support: Arrange high-effect library events, pitch the READ Abuja aspiration to participants, and craft captivating effect stories, op-eds, social platforms content, and press releases. Stand for SNI and Project READ at external forums and events.
- Long-term viability Organizing: Formulate and execute income-diversification plans (e.g., “Adopt-a-Shelf” programs, paid workshops, micro-donation marketing) to guarantee programming continuity beyond the starting grant period.
- Participant Status updates: Generate clear and brief every quarter work collaboratively briefings and donor-prepared effect snapshots. Preserve a strong DB to track all sponsor obligations and outputs.
- Corporate identity & Visibility: Build and security officer the corporate identity identity for both SNI and Project READ, monitoring social platforms status reports, coordinating the design of promotion collateral, and making sure regular communication tone.
Qualifications
Education: A Bsc is essential. A MSC will be an added advantage. Expertise: Expertise in strategic collaborations, capital raising, NGO/public involvement, or communications is wanted but not required. Expertise operating with government or corporate CSR teams is a plus.
Specialized abilities:
- Robust public speaking, persuasive drafting, and design monitoring capabilities.
- Understanding with online platforms which includes Google Workspace, Office productivity software, Canva, and CapCut.
- Basic comprehension of social platforms data analysis.
- Relationship building: A exhibited capability to shape and secure in-kind or monetary aid from corporate, government, or diaspora channels.
Interpersonal abilities:
- A persuasive and driven storyteller.
- Adept and assured in public speaking.
- Culturally sensitive with a group-centered approach to operate.
