IT Business Evaluator at Matrix Energy Group in Ikoyi, Lagos

Explanation

This position will improve effectiveness, productivity, and profit margin by aligning operational workflows and IT support with strategic targets. This position includes recognizing business needs, evaluating data, coordinating information exchange between participants and IT, assisting initiative execution, and standardizing process recordkeeping.

Duties and Accountabilities

• Work alongside participants to comprehend business needs and convert them into IT qualifications.
• Collaborate with applicable participants to establish project and software targets and scope.
• Ensure IT initiatives match with business targets, qualifications and add value to the business.
• Collect and evaluate initiative qualifications from different user departments.
• Record operational and non-operational qualifications for IT projects using standard structured approaches.
• Assist the development of thorough business process models, and processes.
• Assist IT project execution by managing between users’ departments and IT teams.
• Work alongside participants to establish delivery schedules, achievements, and outputs.
• Track advancement and ensure projects are finished within scope, time, and financial plan.
• Actively assist the IT teams during software development and system execution.
• Assist UAT (UAT) to guarantee IT initiatives meet business needs.
• Offer input to the team on system functionalities and user efficiency.
• Evaluate business data to recognize practices and assist strategic judgment.
• Assist the development of smart dashboards and documentation using Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Work alongside the team to enhance IT investments and business plans.
• Serve as a communication link between IT, business participants, and third-party vendors.
• Any other duty allocated by the Chief of IT.
