Job Description

The Nigeria GATEWAY Programme, guided by Co-formation HUB (CcHUB), is a 5-year plan designed to assist 400,000 Nigerian youth, which includes women, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and displaced youth to entry development, assets, and gig work avenues.
We are looking for a Gender/DEI Manager to advocate the consolidation of gender equality, disability addition, and broader diversity, equity, and addition (DEI) principles across the programme.
The Manager will make sure that interventions are welcoming, equitable, and responsive to the unique obstacles faced by marginalized groups.
The Gender/DEI Manager will offer engineering guidance on gender and addition plans, supervise gender/disability audits, and assist the design, execution, and assessment of interventions that close involvement differences.
The position will also strengthen employees, work collaboratively, and participant capacity to adopt welcoming approaches, making sure the GATEWAY Programme achieves quantifiable effect for women, PWDs, and other underrepresented groups in Nigeria’s digital gig economy.

Role the GATEWAY Programme as a leader in welcoming digital employee development in Africa.
Record and distribute case studies, lessons, and success stories on gender and addition effect.
Stand for the programme at forums on gender equity, addition, and emerging direction of work.
Support for welcoming staff rules with gig channels, government, and industry participants.

Expertise: At least 5 years of progressively in charge expertise in gender integration, disability addition, DEI programming, or community-related addition within development, staff, or creative invention ecosystems.
Specialized skill: Solid experience in gender and addition evaluation, welcoming programme design, and supervising.
Intersectionality: Deep knowledge of how gender, disability, age, and socio-economic status intersect in producing obstacles to avenue.
Skills development: Proven expertise supplying development and IT assistance on gender and addition to multifaceted target groups.
Information exchange & Support: Outstanding drafting, facilitation, and support competencies with verified ability to participate government, civil society, donors, and private sector participants.
Regulatory framework & Circumstance: Understanding with Nigerian (and African) gender, disability, and addition frameworks, rules, and lawful guidelines.
Education: Academic qualification in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Community-related Sciences, Human Rights, Disability Studies, or relevant field. A MSC is a plus.
