Position Overview

The Construction supervisor will supervise day-to-day activities at building sites, making sure projects are finished safely, on time, and to the necessary quality benchmarks. This position includes managing with workers, subcontractors, and suppliers, enforcing safety procedures, and preserving project plans and financial plans.

Duties

• On-site Management: Oversee all in-field initiatives, making sure adherence with project strategies, requirements, and timelines.
• Regulatory adherence: Ensure adherence to safety rules and carry out consistent safety inspections to preserve a safe operating environment.
• Team Synchronization: Oversee and direct building workers, subcontractors, and other on-site staff, making sure efficient partnership.
• Quality assurance: Track work quality to guarantee it meets organisation guidelines and customer requirements.
• Planning: Formulate and preserve project plans, making sure on-schedule finish of duty and achievements.
• Asset coordination: Organize the dispatch and use of materials, resources, and tools to avoid setbacks.
• Status updates: Offer consistent advancement documentation to the Manager, project and handle any concerns or setbacks promptly.
• Troubleshooting: Recognize and settle in-field hurdles, escalating sophisticated concerns to the Manager, project as required.
• Recordkeeping: Preserve precise records of routine initiatives, work hours, and material usage.

Qualifications

Education: A Academic qualification or accreditation in building management, civil engineering, or a relevant field is desirable. Expertise: At least 2 years of expertise in building oversight or a similar position.

Competencies:

• Effective guidance and verbal abilities.
• Expertise in building methods, materials, and tools.
• Understanding with safety rules and building codes.
• Capability to read and analyze plans and technical drawings.
• Competence in project coordination software (e.g., MS Project, Procore) will be an added advantage.
• Physical Qualifications: Capability to operate outdoors in various weather terms and execute on-site inspections.
