Job Description

Position duties

  • Handler of flow station, gas stations and connected assets in a safe and productive manner in adherence with stipulated standard procedures.
  • Mentor, formulate and head a team of technicians in site processes
  • Oversee daily generation processes site initiatives and oversee safety and ecological concerns.
  • Track, regulate and document generation rates and effectiveness.
  • Evaluate risk of routine roles and report to higher support tier, as required, to Team Key stakeholders
  • Begin-up wells and facilities (hot and cold begin).
  • Execute basic diagnosing issues on wells and facilities to guarantee stability.
  • Organize the wells and facilities/tools for (re) beginning of generation/processing.
  • Execute standard procedure well test, bean/choke changeout and sampling of generating wells.
  • Measure, confirm and documentation generation volumes precisely
  • Carryout as-needed annulus pressure supervising of all wells in the generation unit.
  • Execute periodic well honesty and reliability guarantee duty and initiatives (both well's flow-wetted and non-flow-wetted parts)
  • Execute routine first line supervising of process parameters and factors.
  • Collect routine generation data, decide the generation effectiveness.
  • Ensure optimized chemical injection rates are followed as advised.
  • Observe local instruments, gauges, and meters to confirm conformance to standard operating practice.
  • In charge of getting ready tools for servicing & maintenance which includes separation, draining, steaming, and other standardized processes as necessary.
  • Implement standard procedure generation and servicing & maintenance processes and minor non-standard procedure generation and Servicing & maintenance initiatives as directed by his/her Supervisory role
  • In charge of project setup which includes plant separation etc., for daily servicing & maintenance work.
  • Execute routine checks and minor servicing & maintenance based on the check list etc.
  • Work alongside the servicing & maintenance team on allocated duty and initiatives.
  • Take requested samples for evaluation, take and document site data requested for general supervising of plant effectiveness
  • Engage in every month Health, safety, security, and environment-SP meeting and routine toolbox meeting
  • Optimize use of DCS to safely operate process plant.
  • Carry out Inlet manifold pressure checks
  • Remote line up of process tools – both Flow station and Booster stations
  • Assist Collation of generation/ flare daily update data from the DCS
  • Carry out reset and safe new venture processes using the DCS
  • Increase UA/UC
  • Oversee Health, safety, and environment effectiveness and supplies of the Team.
  • Engage in vessel de-sanding initiatives.
  • Saver pit process to prevent oil carryover.
  • Crisis-management to prevent oil spill escalation.
  • Accept AGO and chemical into storage, oversee as appropriate with proper tracking.
  • Client engagement and modify materials stock in the store.

Work Cycle:

  • The work site is swamp-site based (Tunu Node) and is reachable through helicopter or boat.
  • The position activity period is routine on 12-hour (6am to 6pm) standard procedure over a 21-day period.
  • The successful applicant will oversee own absences with his/her vendor for appropriate certified covers.
  • There may be need for periodic visits to Renaissance Manufacturing zone, Port Harcourt for development sessions and formal tasks.
  • Staff may be necessary to operate extended hours as need may arise. 

Academics

Bachelor's degree/Higher national diploma or equivalent (At least).

  • Competence in in-field risk mitigation strategy.
  • Competence in application of MS Workspace resources.
