Project sample Manager at OPEC Fund for International Development in Austria

Position Profile

In co-process with the Director, the Project sample Manager directs the execution and supervising of the Public Sector projects in the allocated project sample countries, which includes procurement, oversight, disbursements, and finalization. In synchronization with the applicable Country Managers and Sector professionals, the Project sample Manager also engages in the evaluation of Public Sector projects and supports to the development of Work collaboratively Country Plans in the allocated project sample-countries.   The Project sample Manager is in charge of the execution and supervising of country business plans and aids the accomplishments of the regional and unit-specific targets and targets.

Credentials and Expertise

• MSC in Economics, Finance, Banking, Business Management, Engineering or a (closely) relevant field
• At least five (5) years applicable industry experience
• Ideally a minimum of two (2) years' applicable professional background in an international development institution
• Strong critical thinking with regard to public procurement and development finance
• Fluent in English
• Good practical understanding of Arabic, French, or Spanish is a plus
