Job Description
Objective of Position
To Organize ACALAN’s core projects and the initiatives of some of the organs and operating systems, and engage Member States and applicable participants.
Main Processes
- Ensure efficient synchronization in organizing and execution initiatives at various levels
- Actively support during the formation of plans, rules, program and strategies
- Offer assistance in the communication link with Member States, Regional Economic Networks (RECs), and other participants on applicable matters
- Organize and formulate documentation, financial plans and work program
- Oversee and manage workers under his/her oversight with regards to company and performance check.
- Carry out sophisticated evaluation and produce precise documentation without delay for the Academy and AU’s internal use.
- Coordinate with the various Departments/Directorates/Workspaces of the Fee for synchronization and alignment purposes
- Develop financial plan proposals in accordance possessing applicable frameworks.
Or
Academic qualification (Bachelor) in any of the above fields, with a at least requirement of ten (10) years applicable professional background out of which three (3) years should be at supervisory level.

- Capability to formulate and assign clear program targets, strategies and actions, which includes financial plans, that are regular with accepted plans.
- Capability to develop financial plan, Advancement Documentation, Work Strategies.
- Capability to productively use the African M&E Analytics platforms.
- Competence in one of the AU operating languages (Arabic, English, French, Kiswahili, Portuguese and Spanish) and fluency in another AU language is a plus.

Tenure Of Assignment
The assignment will be made on a consistent term agreement for a period of three (3) years, of which the first twelve months shall be assessed as a probationary period. Thereafter, the agreement will be for a period of two years sustainable, subject to acceptable effectiveness and outputs.
Compensation
Indicative basic remuneration of US$ 37,453.00 (P3 Step1) per annum plus other associated entitlements e.g. Post modification (52% of basic remuneration), Housing benefit US$ 20,097.00 (per annum), and education stipend (100% of tuition and other education-associated expenditures for every qualified reliant up to a maximum of US$ 10,000.00 per child per annum), for internationally hired employees and a maximum of $3,300 per child per annum for locally hired employees.
