Job Description
Duties
- Assist the running of architectural projects inside the Practice and fulfill the role of self-sufficient project architect with assist from top level architect.
- Help Top level Architect/manager in managing projects from idea design stage, through development of design and all necessary stages or applications for statutory authorizations, generation information, requirements, tender process, which includes carrying out inspections of projects in-field.
- In charge of medium-sized architectural projects and getting ready building recordkeeping of same.
- Solve medium architectural challenges while showing creativeness in design.
- Visit and oversee allocated projects to guarantee compliance to design intent.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bsc (1st Class or 2nd class) in Architecture.
- At least 5 years’ expertise in similar role
- Use of the items listed software:
- Specialized knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit Sketchup, and some expertise in a 3D software rendering software (Lumion, 3D max… etc.)
Competencies:
- Robust design competencies (mandatory).
- Outstanding demonstrable comprehension of architectural planning and building.
- Good spoken communication and professional writing competencies
- Sound capability to evaluate programmatic qualifications to generate designs that handle project evaluation benchmarks productively.
- Good interpersonal and team lead competencies.
- Good team player.
- Good Schedule control Competencies and capability to follow due dates provided.
- Robust sense of competence, honesty and reliability, sound judgment and tact.
