Position Overview

This position requires a right - brained revolutionary thinker who is ready to dare the impossible to produce masterpieces. The preferred candidate is fully in charge of idea formation, project executive guidance and project synchronization. The role will require the generation of schematic designs that are operational, safe, maintainable and aesthetically pleasing. You will also be participated in interior design development and implementation, building drawings project setup, design proposal schemes, building recordkeeping and managing assignment teams.

Core tasks and Duties

• Conceptualizing 3D architectural and interior designs and making sure efficient implementation of designs
• Conceptualizing idea designs using BIM resources
• Establish design qualifications for the on-site, its environment, utilities, zoning, development and final user culture.
• Proceed with R & D of preliminary schematic designs to set the direction of the project
• Currently pursuing new design and building methods
• Analyzing of documents for quality assurance reviews
• Meeting with customers to discuss project goals, needs, and financial plan
• Infuse all these qualifications and terms into design proposals.
• Collaborate with the manager, project and other project team members from the preliminary design and drawings stage to operating drawing and implementation.
• Oversight of project team as allocated

• Meeting with suppliers and vendors
• Monitoring building phases of projects by carrying out on-site inspections and ensure full compliance to architects’ description and Development regulate authorized drawings.
• Making sure close-out recordkeeping and project archives are finalize
• Getting ready and demonstrating design proposals, which includes thorough drawings of finished buildings, renovations, or restorations
• Meeting with building experts and customers to discuss practicality of designs
• Operating with service providers, surveyors, and building service engineers to produce a building timetable and bring the designs to fruition
• Analyzing local compliance standards to guarantee the building project falls within all restrictions
• Specifying the materials needed for building of projects
• Operating with computer-aided creative applications to produce plans and images
• Managing work between various service providers
• Directing building of buildings to guarantee projects deliver on time, stay on financial plan, and follow the authentic aspiration for the design
• Fixing problems that come up during building
• Engaging in project coordination throughout the building
• Occasional commute necessary

Credentials

• Architectural academic qualification is essential (Bachelor's degree, Master's degree)
• Authorized by identified Architectural Body in Nigeria (ARCON)
• At least five years’ expertise
• Skilled in standard industry software: Revit Architecture ,3D max studio + VRAY Sketchup + VRAY, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator, Adobe InDesign, MS Workspace bundles (Microsoft project welcoming)
