Project Architect at Ardova Plc in Lagos

Position Overview

The Project Architect will be in charge for carrying out project evaluations to recognize the requirement of project sponsors and offer description of drawing/building strategies that convert to a safe, aesthetic, and cozy habitation. This position includes responsibility for partnership with other experts which includes civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, and service engineers and Quantity survey specialist to formulate and execute feasible, safe, and lawfully authorized systems. The architect will also offer assistance to project coordination team for efficient project regulates by communication link with Virtual Project Workspace, Offers and Agreement administration team and other business processes which includes Processes, Finance, Procurement, Legal compliance, EHSSQ as may be necessary.

Position Description

• Embracing the right tech (CAD) in line with business strategy to formulate project building documents. 
• Formulate project documents project plans in alignment with Ardova Plc's business targets.
• Carry out evaluations to recognize building project requirement of the sponsors; then discuss with them to comprehend project’s goal, preference, site, and financial plan of the project.
• Ensure projects are carried out in accordance with authorized strategies, financial plans, and plans.
• Offer IT assistance to the project team for efficient on-site surveys, technical documentation production and recordkeeping of site data on all allocated projects and supply demonstrations to sponsors, highlighting the capability to produce designs that meet project qualifications.
• Track milestone tracking, recognize and minimize risks, and take corrective action on all allocated projects.
• Verify that every allocated projects are fulfilled on time, within financial plan, and to the necessary quality benchmarks.
• Ensure projects are fulfilled to the necessary quality benchmarks.
• Ensure project material specification aligns with company acceptable guidelines.

Qualifications Education:

A Academic qualification or its equivalent requiring at least a 2.2 in Architecture. Masters Academic qualification Preferred.

Expertise:

• 5 - 7 years of related experience in a applicable position.
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Innovative Suite.
• Deep knowledge of building codes, guidelines, and building recordkeeping.
• Clear articulation, executive guidance, and customer leadership abilities.
• Verified ability to oversee various projects and due dates at the same time.
• Expertise in maintainable design procedures is a plus.
