Job Description
Position Overview
We are looking for an skilled Manager, project to supervise the exploitation and site processes of its gold mining sites in Kogi State, Nigeria. The successful applicant will be in charge of coordinating the daily initiatives of the mine, managing with participants, and executing plans to reduce or regulate the initiatives of unlawful miners while making sure adherence with compliance obligations. The Manager, project will collaborate with the Chief, Metallic Mining Department, to attain the organization's targets of mining Gold in proven sections of the permit zone in addition to procurement gold from local miners while preserving a positive connection with the group.
Mine Process management:
- Supervise the exploitation and site processes of the mine, which includes gold generation, processing, and transportation.
- Execute quality assurance measures to guarantee the quality of gold generated.
- Oversee the connection with local miners, offering rewards and assist to motivate them to operate safely and to sell their gold to Etazuma.
Rule of Unlawful Miners:
- Formulate and execute plans to regulate the initiatives of unlawful miners operating inside the permit zone.
- Collaborate with local governing bodies and group key stakeholders to establish a structure for teamwork and adherence.
- Make sure that the organization's approach to governing unlawful miners is regular with compliance obligations and standardized best practices.
Participant Relation:
- Build and sustain connections with local networks, compliance-related bodies, and other participants.
- Make sure that the organization's processes are in sync with the needs and requirements of participants.
- Oversee clashes and disputes with participants, operating to settle concerns in a fair and efficient timeframe.
Qualifications
- Bsc in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of expertise in mining processes, project coordination, or a relevant field.
- Specialist qualifications, which includes a Project coordination Specialist (PMP) or a Accredited Mining Specialist, are preferred
- Expertise in Nigerian mining rules and standardized best practices
