Explanation

• Carry out studies/oversight connected with Electrical and/or Instrumentation disciplines.
• Manages building service providers.
• Ensure and advance the application of the organization Health, safety, and environment regulations and requirements
• Make sure that service providers adhere at all times with safety regulations, taking actions as necessary in case of disregards of the regulations, stopping the works if they are deemed unsafe, and arranging instrument-box sessions and recovery strategies
• Advance safety culture within Employees and service providers in addition to the status updates of anomalies
• Ensure and track the safety of staff and system setups in addition to protection of the environment.
• Pursue within his team the Health, safety, and environment targets defined by his line management
• Carries out preliminary, basic and thorough facilities engineering studies / design in-house.
• Reads and interprets engineering drawings, specs and make necessary modifications or strategic guidance.
• Interfaces with Procurement Dept., Project & Building Sections for engineering associated concerns.
• Draw up and cross-check applicable standardized processes, international guidelines and Organisation General Requirements.
• Follows-up Buy Orders to guarantee prompt authorization, conformity of design & engages in technical assessments and Assessment of E&I materials.
• Client engagement on Engineering and Building initiatives.
• Pre-mob assessment of E&I materials and tools.
• On-site oversight of E&I installation works.
• Ensure efficient and prompt reply to technical queries in adherence with set guidelines, organisation requirements and health and safety protocols.

Qualification

At least Certification: Bachelor's degree/ bachelor's in engineering/Higher national diploma.(Elec/Electronics Eng.) 5-7 years of expertise in an Engineering or facility Building Company . Use of Intools,Aveva Electrical & Instrumentation, Powertools, Ms Word, Ms Excel is essential. Practical understanding of ISA codes, IEC guidelines and most common international guidelines. Expertise in Autocad is a plus.
