Position Overview

We are hiring for an skilled and objective-oriented Zone Commercial manager for our customer to lead sales effectiveness, allocation, and corporate identity visibility for a top FMCG organisation in Sokoto. The preferred candidate will possess a firm knowledge of the Northern market and demonstrated achievement coordinating teams and delivering targets in the FMCG space.

Primary duties

• Lead revenue goals and ensure regular effectiveness across the allocated territory
• Oversee and assist site sales delegates
• Formulate efficient route-to-market plans
• Recognize and onboard new distributors and track their effectiveness
• Preserve solid connections with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors
• Ensure the accessibility and visibility of goods in the market
• Carry out consistent market visits to collect intelligence and guarantee adherence
• Evaluate sales practices, projections, and organize prompt documentation
• Educate and motivate business development team members for peak performance
• Guarantee alignment to organisation pricing and credit rules

Qualifications

• Bsc in Promotion, Business Management, or relevant field
• At least 3 - 5 years of expertise in sales (ideally in Food FMCG)
• Established history of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
• Expertise coordinating a business development team within a appointed territory
• Solid understanding of the Northern market, especially Adamawa and its environs
• Clear articulation, executive guidance, and bargaining ability
• Capability to operate under pressure and with minimal oversight.
