Formwork Carpenter Manager at Ascentech Services Limited in Oshodi, Lagos

Position Overview

We are looking for an skilled and highly proficient Formwork Carpenter Manager to supervise and organize all carpentry initiatives connected with formwork building. The preferred candidate will possess a solid experience in formwork carpentry, management abilities to oversee a team, and the capability to guarantee projects are finished to the highest guidelines of safety, quality, and effectiveness.

Primary duties

• Oversee and organize routine initiatives of formwork carpenters in-field.
• Analyze technical drawings, plans, and building strategies to mentor formwork assembly.
• Verify that every formwork system setups meet necessary requirements and quality benchmarks.
• Track work advancement, assign duty, and allocate assets productively.
• Educate, train, and mentor team members to enhance competencies and effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety and wellness rules to preserve a safe operating environment.
• Coordinate with on-site engineers, PMs, and other participants to guarantee smooth process.
• Preserve resources, tools, and materials in good operating requirement.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years’ expertise in formwork carpentry, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position.
• Deep understanding of formwork methods, materials, and building methods.
• Capability to read and analyze building drawings and technical documents.
• Effective guidance, information exchange, and planning abilities.
• Dedication to office safety and QA.
