QA Manager at Ascentech Services Limited in Ilaro, Ogun

Position Overview

The QA Manager will be in charge of pushing quality uniformity of all goods and reduce the cost of non-conformities through unedited material assessment and uninterrupted supervising of manufacturing workflows/product dispatch to guarantee that goods turn out exceeds the requirements of esteemed clients while meeting all compliance obligations. The position requires proficiency on Standards oversight operational structures, Food Safety Management Operational structures and Ecological Management operational structures.

Primary duties

• In charge of the definition, development and execution of methods, operational structures and standardized processes to oversee product standard and reduce the cost of non-conformities through unedited material assessment, process audit, chemical/microbial evaluation and to meet all set guidelines, good production operations procedures (GMPs), client qualifications and statutory rules and profit margin to the business, while preserving honesty and reliability of the business and brands as it concerns product standard.
• Carry out ecological assay of generation zones and swab test of food reach out surfaces/worktops to ascertain the air quality of generation zones and sanitary level of food reach out surfaces/worktops respectively.
• Sustains requirements and guidelines to sustain product standard through uninterrupted standard enhancement, collection, supervising and status updates data.
• Make sure that the terms of storage of unedited materials, semi-finished and finished goods are adequate and tracked for safe keeping of the materials to avoid production of B&D.
• General Management excellent quality Regulate Laboratory. Tools installation, calibration and servicing & maintenance
• Confirms adherence and conformance to guidelines and specification.
• Liaises with Government compliance-related bodies: SON, NAFDAC laboratories and workspaces, State Ecological Protection Agency and Ministry of Health, NESREA on prompt adherence with rules/qualifications.

Credentials

• Academic qualification or Higher national diploma holder in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science & Tech or Laboratory Science Tech with a minimum of 5 years of expertise coordinating QA Laboratory in a wheat or Maize milling Organisation.
• Expertise in relevant Legislation in addition to Standardized processes, Generation Expertise and Grievance Managing Expertise
• Combined Pest Management Expertise
• Good expertise in Laboratory tools, installation, calibration and servicing & maintenance.
• Specialist certification to Nigeria Institute of Food Science and Tech, Chemical Society of Nigeria and other applicable bodies.
