Linen Manager at Wells Carlton Hotel & Apartment in Asokoro, Abuja (FCT)

Position Overview

We are seeking a devoted and skilled Linen Manager to supervise the day-to-day activities of a linen guest accommodation and laundry department, making sure the accessibility of clean linens and uniforms, coordinating stock, and directing employees.

Primary duties

• Directing Employees: timetable, and oversee linen guest accommodation or laundry personnel, making sure proper managing, cleaning, and storage of linens and uniforms.
• Stock Management: preserve precise records of linen and standardized inventories, track usage, track inventory levels, and order inventory as needed.
• Quality assurance: examine linens and uniforms for loss, stains, or wear, making sure they meet established guidelines for cleanliness and visual communication.
• Synchronization: collaborate with other departments, which includes room maintenance services and F&B, to fulfill linen and standardized requests and handle any concerns or special needs.
• Process effectiveness: ensure the smooth and productive process of the linen guest accommodation or laundry, which includes proper managing of soiled linens, productive cleaning methods, and compliance to workplace safety and wellness rules.
• Preserving Cleanliness and Company: preserve a clean and structured linen guest accommodation, making sure proper storage and managing of linens and uniforms.
• Status updates and Document Keeping: organize documentation on laundry processes, productivity, and stock, and keep documentation of linen usage, orders, and repairs.

Additional Duties:

Laundry Tools Servicing & maintenance: managing with servicing & maintenance employees for repairs. Client support: manage client support concerns connected with linen or standardized accessibility or quality.

Qualifications

• Secondary school certificate or equivalent; additional accreditation will be an added advantage
• Demonstrated expertise as Linen Oversight
• Effective guidance and team leadership abilities
• Outstanding meticulousness
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capability to operate any time, which includes weekends
• Expertise in laundry tools and cleaning chemicals
• Understanding with workplace safety and wellness guidelines
