Fishery Manager at Survival Agricultural Hub Limited (SAHL) in Iyana-Offa, Ibadan - Oyo

Responsibilites

• Strategize timetable, and supervise routine farm processes, which includes feeding, breeding, harvesting and processing.
• Track and assess key indicators, which includes fish growth rates, feed transformation ratios, and disease incidence, to recognize zones for advancement which is often done by automatic digital infrastructure.
• Supervising the health of the fish and treating them when suitable.
• Making sure the water stock is of a sufficient quality and it is altered as at when due.
• Checking that the water quality and oxygen levels are right for the fish
• Remitting close meticulousness in order to avoid expensive fish losses and death.
• Being conscious of different water management methods;
• Keeping records of the numbers and size of fish
• Ordering tools, fish medication and feeds
• Oversee financial plans, expenditures, and stock levels to enhance asset distribution and reduce waste
• Carry out market analysis and evaluation to recognize emerging practices and avenue for development, and modify farm processes as appropriate
• Keeping finance records, organizing financial plans and carrying out variety of managerial obligations
• Formulate and execute plans to enhance farm productivity, effectiveness, and profit margin
• Executes other obligations as may be allocated.

Credentials

Interested applicants should have a Bsc with 3 - 5 years of expertise.
