Role summary
We are looking for a initiative-driven and strategic Business Purchase Head to lead the recognition, relation, and orientation of new merchants/clients. This position requires a combination of industry findings, building relationship, analytics-based strategic judgment, and cross-operational partnership to scale our merchant base and support to business expansion.
Duties & Obligations
- Market Analysis & Evaluation
- Carry out deep market analysis to recognize and assess possibility merchant segments, industries, and geographic avenues.
- Track and evaluate rival activity, client practices, and market forces to enhance purchase plans.
- Offer findings that mentor product positioning and go-to-market endeavors.
- Lead generation & Outreach
- Recognize and target high-possibility merchants using a range of head production methods (online channels, events, client recommendations, strategic collaborations, etc.).
- Formulate and implement targeted engagement approaches to participate, certify, and transform new business directs.
- Build and preserve a robust pipeline of possibility customers.
- Building relationship
- Build and develop long-term, trust-based connections with merchants from first reach out through orientation and beyond.
- Act as the primary point of reach out, making sure merchants accept prompt assist, direction, and response.
- Serve as a trusted consultant to merchants, making sure alignment with their business targets and needs.
- Cross-operational Partnership
- Work alongside Promotion to formulate marketing and materials that assist merchant purchase.
- Collaborate with Product and Customer experience teams to guarantee a smooth orientation expertise and alignment with client needs.
- Offer input from the site to assist enhance internal workflows, product offerings, and customer experience.
- Data evaluation & Status updates
- Use data to track results, enhance plans, and documentation on key purchase indicators (transformation rates, pipeline value, purchase expenses, etc.).
- Formulate practical findings based on data practices and merchant response.
- Organize consistent documentation and dashboards for executive guidance and primary stakeholders.
- Adherence & Risk mitigation strategy
- Verify that every merchant orientation initiatives adhere with organisation rules, industry guidelines, and compliance obligations.
- Carry out risk evaluations for new strategic collaborations and report to higher support tier matters as necessary.
- Preserve precise records and recordkeeping of all purchase initiatives.
Credentials & Competencies
- Bsc in Business, Promotion, Economics, or a relevant field.
- 3+ years of expertise in business development, sales, or customer conversion (ideally in a B2B or technology-driven environment).
- Robust logical and analysis competencies, with the capability to convert findings into strategic actions.
- Clear articulation and people skills.
- Verified ability to oversee various potential opportunities and close agreements in a dynamic environment.
- Competence in CRM resources and data status updates channels.
- Robust corporate and time-management abilities.
- A self-starter with a developmental approach and cooperative spirit.
Preferred Credentials:
Expertise operating in a new venture or scaling organisation. Expertise in the logistics, technology, or e-commerce space will be an added advantage.
