Role summary
We are looking for a highly logical, commercially driven, and credit-savvy In-store Finance Manager to supervise the financial processes of our automotive in-store network which includes vehicle showrooms, service centers, and spare parts outlets with a robust concentration on loan and credit management. The preferred candidate will not only oversee in-store financial effectiveness but will also bring in-depth understanding in loan processing, credit facilities, and microfinance banking processes, making sure the smooth unification of funding initiatives into our in-store sales process.
Primary duties
- Organize and oversee financial plans and projections for in-store processes (vehicle sales, post-sales solutions, spare parts).
- Evaluate showroom and service center effectiveness — income, gross profit, expenditures, and margins.
- Track key fiscal indicators which includes cost per unit sold, average income per vehicle, and parts profit margin.
- Design, execute, and supervise credit and loan methods for vehicle buys and post-sales funding.
- Coordinate extensively with banks, microfinance institutions, and loan officers to secure and oversee client funding initiatives.
- Offer financial findings to assist pricing plans, campaigns, dealership growth, and funding bundles.
- Track and documentation on stock value, inventory movement, and operating capital effectiveness.
- Head every month finance reporting and financial difference assessment with strategic guidance to enhance effectiveness.
- Assist audit preparedness, tax adherence, and internal regulates connected with in-store and credit financial record.
- Work alongside sales, service, and processes teams to align financial and credit targets with business key focuses.
Education & Qualifications
- Bsc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a associated discipline.
- A member of a professional body (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is essential.
- Master of business administration or postgraduate academic qualification in Finance is a plus.
Expertise Qualifications:
- At least 5 – 7 years’ expertise in finance or accounting.
- A minimum of 3 years’ practical experience in loan processing, credit facility management, and microfinance banking processes — this is a compulsory obligation.
- Established history coordinating with with loan vendors, arranging client funding initiatives, and coordinating credit risk.
- Expertise in automobile in-store, FMCG, or multi-branch in-store environments will be an added advantage.
- Expertise coordinating financials for vehicle sales, service departments, or parts allocation is highly preferred.
Other Qualifications:

- Capability to oversee various in-store outlets and commute when necessary.
- Dedicated attitude and capability to thrive in a dynamic, sales-driven environment.
- Understanding with dealership financial processes or DMS software will be an added advantage.
Competencies & Skills:
- Deep knowledge of in-store finance in an automotive or similar sales-driven environment.
- In-depth understanding of credit risk evaluation, loan arranging, and microfinance lending processes.
- Competence in Excel and financial system (SAP, Sage, or dealership management operational structures).
- Outstanding data evaluation and public speaking.
- Business strategic insight and capability to analyze sophisticated financial data into implementable plans.
- Robust people skills to coordinate with showroom managers, service teams, loan officers, and vendors.
