Supermarket Manager at a Fast-growing Supermarket in Lagos

 Position Overview

The Business operations manager will be in charge of the daily management of the supermarket’s initiatives, making sure process effectiveness, profit margin, employee output, client fulfillment, and compliance to organisation rules. This position requires a initiative-driven leader with outstanding corporate, executive guidance, and analytical abilities. We are looking for a highly proficient and outcomes-driven Supermarket Manager to supervise and oversee the full scope of processes of the supermarket.

Financial & Sales Management:

• Track and evaluate sales effectiveness, executing plans to grow income and reduce business expenses.
• Oversee the store financial plan, expenditures, and financial targets.
• Ensure precise cash managing, settlement, and banking standardized processes.

Employees Management:

• Hire, educate, oversee, and assess supermarket employees across various departments.
• Organize and oversee employees plans to guarantee adequate coverage and effectiveness.
• Head, motivate, and mentor the team to supply outstanding client support.
• Manage employee output assessments, corrective measures, and dispute settlement.

Client support & Expertise:

• Ensure clients accept prompt, friendly, and specialist service at all times.
• Manage client service issues productively and execute plans to improve client fulfillment.
• Preserve store layout and displays for an appealing shopping environment.

Adherence & Status updates:

• Guarantee adherence with organisation rules, standardized processes, and applicable regulations.
• Organize routine, on a weekly basis, and every month business documentation for management.
• Track KPIs to evaluate business performance and make necessary enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Business Management, Management, or relevant field (Higher national diploma holders with robust expertise can submit application).
• At least 5 years demonstrated expertise in in-store/supermarket management.
• Effective guidance, information exchange, and planning abilities.
• Competence in MS Workspace and in-store management software.
• Outstanding issue resolution and strategic judgment abilities.
• Expertise in stock regulate, merchandising, and in-store practices.

Shift plan:

Full-time, and is prepared to operate and close late in line with supermarket hours.
