Position Overview
- We are looking for an skilled and initiative-driven Servicing & maintenance Manager to supervise the organizing, implementation, and ongoing development of servicing & maintenance processes for our production operations plant.
- This position will ensure the most effective effectiveness of machinery, resources, and tools, reduce non-operational time, and preserve high safety, quality, and generation guidelines.
- The preferred candidate will head a proficient team of engineers and technicians, oversee financial plans, and lead preventive and predictive servicing & maintenance plans.
Primary duties
- Head daily and long-term servicing & maintenance organizing for all plant machinery, resources, and tools.
- Ensure zero non-operational time through efficient preventive, predictive, and curative servicing & maintenance programs.
- Supervise the introduction, installation, and initiating of new tools.
- Oversee spare parts stock, procurement, and expense management.
- Execute servicing & maintenance SOPs and track KPIs to guarantee process effectiveness.
- Carry out root cause evaluation of breakdowns and execute corrective actions.
- Guarantee adherence with safety rules, machine process guidelines, and organisation rules.
- Oversee and formulate servicing & maintenance employees through mentoring, effectiveness assessments, and competencies development.
- Engage in capital projects and tools financial funding organizing.
- Preserve precise servicing & maintenance records and recordkeeping.
Credentials
- Bsc or HND qualification (Bachelor's degree/Higher national diploma) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Applicable specialist qualifications and membership in identified engineering bodies.
- At least 8 years of demonstrated expertise as a Servicing & maintenance Manager in a uninterrupted production operations environment.
- Solid understanding of servicing & maintenance operational structures, spare parts management, and CAPEX financial planning.
- Competence in Ms office tools.
- Physically suit and capable to operate in a production operations environment.
