Drilling & Completions Manager at Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited in Nigeria

Job Description

Owns comprehensive dispatch of the rig marketing (workovers → completions → drilling), assuring Health, safety, and environment, well honesty and reliability, timetable, and cost.
Organizing/Engineering: Confirm well targets, programs, and AFE; ensure workover → finalization → drilling sequence logic, critical path, and SIMOPS alignment with generation ops.
Implementation Monitoring: Head routine ops call; authorize critical processes (BOP tests, well kill ops, inflow tests, perforations, fishing, cement squeezes, sand-regulate, well clean-up). Problem go/no-go for stage gates.
Effectiveness: Lead KPI assessments (ROP, NPT, flat time, cost per meter/position). Deploy effectiveness resources (observe-backs, after-action assessments, lessons learned).
Negotiating/Expense management: Confirm call-offs vs MSA/FTSA; authorize site tickets; difficulty variances; ensure adherence to fair-market pricing and BEME compliance.
Compliance-related/Guidelines: Guarantee adherence with NUPRC licenses/status updates, well obstacle rules, and Good Oilfield Practice.
People/Interface: Head Organisation Reps (day/night), completions/well solutions, Health, safety, and environment, Quality assurance/Quality control, logistics, marine, wireline/slickline, cementing, mud, well test, and generation ops.
