Central Kitchen Manager at Firewood Rice Nigeria in Surulere, Lagos

Duties

• Leading and monitoring the work of kitchen employees, which includes cooks, chefs, and kitchen assistants. This includes allocating duty, offering direction, and making sure that all team members follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Development new kitchen employees members and offering ongoing development to current employees to enhance their competencies and effectiveness in food project setup, cooking methods, and health and safety protocols.
• Partnering with chefs and management to strategy menus, formulate recipes, and make sure that dishes are readied and delivered according to established guidelines. This may engage supervising food expenses and stock levels.
• Making sure the quality and uniformity of food goods by evaluating ingredients, supervising cooking methods, and tasting dishes to preserve high guidelines of taste, visual communication, and diet-focused value.
• Enforcing full compliance to workplace safety and wellness rules, which includes proper food managing, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Carrying out consistent inspections to recognize and handle any concerns that could compromise food safety
• Monitoring tools servicing & maintenance, managing kitchen plans, and coordinating food ordering and stock.
• Supervising kitchen expenditures and budgetary restrictions.
• Making sure that food is readied and served promptly, precisely, and to the client's requirements.
• Supporting to entire client fulfillment through premium quality food and service.

Credentials

Interested applicants should have an Higher national diploma / Bachelor`s Academic qualification with 2 - 5 years work expertise.
