Role summary
- Organize routine guard processes across all Southern sites—which includes BTS, switch stations, warehouses, and workspace

- Carry out on-site risk evaluations, risk exposure studies, and threat evaluation routinely
- Head inquiries into theft, vandalism, sabotage, or any guard breaches
- Guarantee promptness system issue status updates, recordkeeping, and escalation to Chief Workspace
- Oversee agreements and effectiveness of third-party guard vendors and security officers
- Confirm proper manpower planning, development, and carry out of security officers deployed at all sites
- Track SLA adherence, patrol data records, and surveillance system capability
- Organize and execute crisis-management drills and safety procedures across Southern sites
- Take action swiftly to guard warnings or civil disruptions affecting processes
- Work alongside law enforcement, local governing bodies, and internal participants as needed
- Organize on a weekly basis/every month documentation on guard status, risks, incidents, and outcomes
- Convey region-specific guard progress updates to Chief of Guard
- Advise local on-site heads and facility managers on preventative measures
- Guarantee adherence with national guard legal provisions, environmental public health guidelines, and telecom-specific rules
- Preserve on-site recordkeeping for audits, inspections, and authorizing
- Assist legal & regulatory communication link inside the Southern jurisdictions
Education / Accreditation
Bsc in Criminology, Guard Studies, Risk mitigation strategy, or associated discipline Guard qualifications preferred: CPP, PSP, or industrial guard credentials
Expertise:
- 7+ years in guard management, with a minimum of 3 years in regional or site processes
- Expertise securing telecom sites, power operational structures, or critical structure in Southern Nigeria
- Profile in military, police, or paramilitary service will be an added advantage
- Expertise managing sensitive and private information with strong level of honesty and reliability
- Previous expertise in system issue status updates, recordkeeping, and post-system issue evaluation
Competencies & Skills:
- Effective guidance, oversight, and team leadership abilities
- Outstanding expertise in regional guard terrain and group dynamics
- Capability to oversee various branches and adapting key focuses under pressure
- Technical understanding with Closed-circuit television, authorization, alarms, and surveillance tools
- Effective communication, status updates, and issue resolution abilities
- Skilled in Office productivity software and basic guard management software.
