Position Overview

The Bursar shall be the Chief of the Finance unit of the Tertiary institution. The Bursar shall have competently identified accountancy certification and twelve (12) years of expertise plus a good academic qualification in Accountancy or relevant field.

Duties

• The Bursar shall be in charge of getting ready financial plan processes strategies, and short- and long-term financial funding strategies.
• The Bursar shall organize the development and modify of the Tertiary institution Finance Management Strategies.
• The Bursar shall ensure precise records are kept on all local and foreign assets and financial obligations held by the Tertiary institution.
• The Bursar shall oversee the tertiary institution financial funding project sample.
• The Bursar shall track and ensure the prompt and efficient generation of audited accounts of the Tertiary institution.

Credentials

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree Academic qualification or its equivalent in Accounting/Accountancy. In addition, candidates should have ACA / ICAN / ACCA / ANAA, and must possess cognate expertise of a tertiary institution system.
