Adherence & Internal Regulate Manager at SanlamAllianz Nigeria in Lagos

Position Overview

The position is in charge of conceptualizing, executing and monitoring a strong Adherence Management System that ensures compliance to compliance guidelines, reinforces internal regulates, and builds a initiative-driven adherence culture across the business. This position serves as a strategic consultant to the company on adherence risks and directs the charge in recognizing and mitigating lawful, ethical, and reputational threats.

Internal Regulate:

• Oversee the Internal Regulate operation to assist the organization’s adherence with compliance and compliance obligations and obligations connected with making sure an efficient system of internal regulate exists.
• Development, execution and management of the Internal Regulate structure (guidelines, standard procedures, operational regulations) and alignment of the same to that of the SanlamAllianz Group.
• Offer risk and regulate evaluation information and status updates to primary stakeholders and endorse actions where regulates are deemed unproductive to guarantee the risk is within acceptable tolerances.
• Ensure critical key regulate defeats in core operational workflows are escalated to the Head Regulatory manager and/or management to guarantee they are settled in an productive and efficient timeframe.
• Engage in and/or show at every quarter compliance panels to guarantee priority topics are brought to the attention of Management to discuss risk reduction actions and offer status status reports
• Examine and scrutinize internal work methods and initiatives to decide adherence with rules, strategies, guidelines, legal provisions and rules.
