Job Description

Duties

  • Execute and localize the corporate property plan in Southern Nigeria
  • Assist on-site recognition, lease talks, and purchase for workspaces and telecom structure
  • Ensure most effective asset utilization, carrying out standard procedure inspections, cost assessments, and on-site audits
  • Work alongside network deploying teams to align real estate plans with rollout targets
  • Oversee daily processes of regional facilities, which includes data centers, BTS sites, and managerial workspaces
  • Execute preventive and corrective servicing & maintenance programs regionally
  • Track structure requirement, supervise workspace distribution, and oversee refurbishments
  • Organize with regional service vendors (e.g. guard, janitors, facility engineers)
  • Assist tendering, selection, and oversight of vendors for facility-associated solutions
  • Ensure vendor SLAs are fulfilled across all real estate assets under your jurisdiction
  • Help in financial planning, predicting, and expense management for real estate processes in the region
  • Track utility and business expenses and endorse cost-saving measures
  • Offer consistent documentation to Chief Workspace on real estate status, risks, and adherence concerns
  • Guarantee adherence with all local land use legal provisions, ecological rules, and building codes
  • Assist real estate registration, recordkeeping, land use authorizations, and lease renewals
  • Ensure adherence to regional safety, fire protection, and environmental public health guidelines
  • Oversee on-ground real estate/facilities officers and technical teams
  • Assist development, guidance, and effectiveness supervising of the regional real estate team
  • Build teamwork between processes, lawful, and technical teams in the region

Education / Accreditation

Bachelor’s in Estate Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a relevant field Specialist qualifications (NIESV, ESVARBON, PMP, etc.) are a plus

Expertise:

  • 7+ years of expertise in real estate or facility management, with a minimum of 3 years in a regional or telecom environment
  • Expertise coordinating BTS sites, fiber asset sites, and regional operations and facilities
  • Expertise in real estate purchases and resource control

Skills: Expertise:

  • Robust knowledgeof Southern Nigeria’s compliance-related and real estate landscape
  • Outstanding knowledgeof land lease standardized processes, project on-site development, and vendor oversight
