Position Overview

We are at present looking for a highly skilled and skilled project coordinator to join our team. As a project coordinator, you will be accountable for managing the successful implementation of allocated projects, making sure compliance to quality benchmarks, and managing the initiatives of on-site engineers.

Position duties

• Take charge of all engineering building initiatives on allocated projects, making sure compliance to delivery schedules and quality benchmarks.
• Organize and oversee the initiatives of on-site engineers to guarantee productive project implementation.
• Collaborate with the organization's adminstrative assistant and external structural/quality assurance team (advisors) to guarantee conformity with organisation guidelines and offerings to our subscribers.
• Execute the organization's building regulatory framework and make sure that project designs match with the organization's guidelines.
• Ensure on-site engineers are well-informed and equipped to carry out their duties productively.
• Track and organize their initiatives to assurance the successful execution of projects in line with building regulatory framework documents and checklists.
• Make sure that building works match with project designs and are free from errors or variations.
• Execute the organization's project checklist to preserve standards guarantee throughout the building process.
• Enhance the utilization of financial assets and materials assigned for on-site use.
• Assume accountability for minimizing wastage in-field and be held responsible for asset coordination.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have Higher national diploma / Bsc; Architecture is recommended.
• At least 7 years of related experience in project oversight inside the building industry.
• Applicable teaching credentials in engineering or a relevant field.
• A member of a professional body, which includes COREN, NSE, or equivalent, is essential.
• Understanding with building guidelines and industry standards.
• Robust corporate and management abilities to productively organize on-site engineers and track milestone tracking.
• Clear articulation and people skills to work alongside within and outside the organization participants.
• Competence in project coordination software and resources.
• Capability to operate under pressure and meet project due dates.
