Job Description

The School Driver at Discovering Skills Academy (DTA) is in charge of offering safe, dependable, and productive transportation solutions for students, employees, and school-associated initiatives.
This position is paramount in making sure the well-being of our pupils during transit and preserving the school's dedication to safety and operations excellency.
The Driver will comply firmly to all DTA transportation rules and standardized processes, supporting to a secure and positive environment for everyone.

Ensure the school bus is properly secured at all times, which includes winding up windows and locking doors after use.
Preserve a valid driver's permit and guarantee promptness agreement extension.
Verify that every vehicle documents (registration, coverage) are finalize, intact, and promptly accessible.
Follow all DTA Standard Operating Standardized processes (SOPs) for School Drivers.
Send vehicle keys and bus phone to the Administrator Officer after morning pick-up and evening drop-off.
Be accessible for Saturday obligations as allocated, which includes general cleaning and servicing & maintenance.

Education: At least a High school Departing Certification.
Permit: Valid and ongoing specialist driver's permit.
Expertise: At least [e.g., 3-5] years of demonstrated expertise as a specialist driver, ideally in a school or passenger transport setting.
Expertise: Thorough expertise in local traffic legal provisions, road safety rules, and basic vehicle servicing & maintenance. Understanding with DTA's routes is a plus.
Competencies: Outstanding pushing competencies, robust observational competencies, and capability to organize schedule productively.
Personal Traits: Patient, in charge, dependable, on time, and a calm demeanor, especially when interacting with children.
