Assistant Information technology manager at Bourbon Interoil Nigeria Limited in Amadi Base, Rivers

Position duties

• To help the Information technology manager in making sure operational and secured IT network and assist to on-site and vessels:
• To adhere with IT Industry standards and guidelines.
• To design and execute guard rules, standardized processes, and procedures to protect operational structures and data from various threats.
• To track networks and operational structures for suspicious activity, possibility vulnerabilities, and guard breaches using various resources and methods.
• To carry out consistent evaluations to recognize weaknesses in operational structures and applications and simulate attacks to test the performance of guard measures. 
• To explore any event/threat, recognize the root cause, and execute suitable measures to contain loss and prevent future occurrences.
• To assist externa Network management and cybersecurity service vendors to achieve targets set on SLAs
• Operating with vendors to procure tools and solutions and coordinating vendor connections. 
• Executing and preserving network & cybersecurity measures, which includes firewalls, intrusion discovery operational structures, and secure procedures
• Supervising network effectiveness, recognizing and fixing problems, and making sure most effective network process. 
• Coordinating network projects from begin to finish, which includes organizing, implementation, and recordkeeping. .
• Make sure that Recordkeeping of all Network assets are made.
• Producing and preserving precise network recordkeeping, which includes diagrams, settings, and standardized processes.
• To offer Periodic Information security documentation for executive review which delivers overview of BINL guard posture, key threats and risk reduction plans.
• Optimization of Telecommunications expenses for all BINL sites.
• Ensure proper and on time servicing & maintenance on information exchange and navigational system on BINL vessels.
